give up

the master declares

what to give up

i ask

 

your ego

which makes you think

that you are ‘doing’

said the master

 

but how can I give up

I ask

its like giving up

breathing

in order to live

 

what is the secret

of giving up

how do I give up

I pester

the master

just smiles

 

the fact that the masters have done it

time and again

over yeons

indicates that it is possible

 

How?

may be the first step

is stop trying

and letting it happen

 

letting the bubble burst

so there is no separation

between the

air within

and the air without

between the space within

and the space without

 

its only a question of

when

not how
